On the 1/19 episode of WWE SmackDown, Pete Dunne officially returned and the Butch character was officially dropped.
Dunne has posted a video to X, showing when he decided the Butch character was done and that Pete Dunne would return.
Dunne and Bate defeated Pretty Deadly on Friday night’s SmackDown.
During the January 12 episode of SmackDown, a segment aired with Tyler Bate and Butch in a coffee shop. Bate Butch he wanted to continue their partnership. However Butch then told Bate that they should each go their separate ways, as the Brawling Brutes were done as a faction. Bate then told Butch that he needed to look inward and find himself.
