Jim Ross reveals when his AEW contract expires; Anna Jay reflects on Brodie Lee tribute match

WWE Hall of Famer and AEW broadcaster Jim Ross revealed on the January 11 episode of Grilling JR podcast, that his current deal with AEW expires on February 14.

He also hopes that Tony Khan will renew his contract, as he said that he wants to finish up in the company, as he really loves working with AEW. Furthermore, Ross said that he wants to call Sting’s last match and that he Tony Schiavone agreed that it is right and makes sense.

Anna Jay reflects on Brodie Lee tribute match

Wednesday night at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida was emotional for Anna Jay.

AEW held eight man and eight woman tag team matches in honor of the late Brodie Lee (Jon Huber). The women’s tag match saw Anna Jay, Willow Nightingale, Thunder Rosa and former TBS Champion Kris Statlander defeat Skye Blue, Julia Hart, Saraya and Ruby Soho.

Jay was part of Dark Order when Lee was the leader. In a post-Dynamite interview, Jay reflected on how Lee took her under his wing and more.

Lee passed away on December 26, 2020 at the age of 41.
