Below are possible spoilers for tonight’s WWE SmackDown New Year’s Revolution episode, live on FOX.

WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering has been spotted in Vancouver, BC today.
It is believed that The The Authors of Pain, along with Ellering as their manager will be returning tonight on SmackDown as part of an alliance with Karrion Kross and Scarlett.
During a Karrion Kross and Scarlett vignette on the December 22, 2023 episode of WWE SmackDown, the Authors of Pain (Akam, Rezar, and their manager Paul Ellering) appeared in a silhouette type image.
In the vignette, Kross specifically said that he needs “Authors”, with much implication that the tag team along with Ellering will be returning to WWE and aligning with Kross and Scarlett.
It is also being said that there has been a lot of discussion about who will be Butch’s partner for tonight’s tag team match, as Butch and a mystery partner will take on Pretty Deadly.a
As of this writing, Sheamus and NXT talent Tyler Bate has discussed. It is not known if either will be selected as a tag team partner for Butch.
Tonight’s SmackDown will emanate from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC.
