The Wrestling Club, an after-school club at KIPP AMP Middle School in Brooklyn, took to social media to promote a fundraiser selling popcorn to help the group pay for a trip to WrestleMania.
Cody Rhodes responded to the post, letting the group know that he would cover the costs necessary for such a trip:
The group, which has gone viral through videos posted in the past reacting to matches, has already responded in kind to the gesture from the WWE star:
The Wrestling Club was created by Victor Perry, an English teacher at the school, and focuses on the art of storytelling and character building in professional wrestling as they look at modern day and classic matches.
WWE WrestleMania 40 takes place on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7 from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
