According to PWInsider, Kevin Dunn informed WWE around Christmas week that he is leaving after spending over three decades with the company.
Fightful is also reporting that Dunn is exiting WWE.
Dunn held the position of Executive Producer and Chief, Global Television Distribution.
PWInsider notes in their report that a big factor for Dunn’s decision to leave WWE and retire was the internal changes after Endeavor acquired majority ownership of the company. It was also said that Dunn felt he was “never going to do anything that was dictated” to him.
Furthermore, PWInsider said that Dunn leaving was not an issue of creative, but two differing versions of how things should be run from a TV production perspective as Endeavor seeks to make cuts to save on costs.
