On Saturday there were some reports that Dana Massie, who is the real-life wife of EVP Matt Jackson is leaving AEW. Massie has been the Chief Marketing and Merchandising Officer for the company.
Matt took to his Instagram confirming the news of his wife’s departure from AEW.
Massie had been in her role with AEW since the start of the company back in 2019.
Massie’s departure comes not long after the news of Rafael Morffi – AEW’s Vice President of Live Events and Touring since 2019, will be leaving the company at the end of this year.
Morffi accepted a senior executive position with Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, (where Morfi resides with his family). Morffi will be splitting his duties between booking sports and entertainment events at the arena as well as working for the Brooklyn Nets’ owners. One of the reasons Morffi took the new job was the ability to remain closer to his family and not be constantly on the road. This was basically seen as an amazing offer and there there was no way he could pass on the opportunity.
