According to Fightful Select, WWE working on re-signing Cody Rhodes. He returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 as the ‘mystery’ opponent for Seth Rollins.
The report notes that that people in the industry expect Rhodes will get a “sizeable raise.” In addition, it is also being said that re-signing Cody is a top priority for TKO. Furthermore, it is said that there is confidence among people within WWE that a new contract will eventually get done to show how much he is valued by the company.
Fightful Select also notes that Cody got a new bus around Thanksgiving, with some in WWE that believe he has already signed a new deal as a result of receiving the new bus.
WWE has already recently re-signed Charlotte Flair to a lucrative new contract, inked new deals with Dominik and Rey Mysterio and Bayley. In 2024 Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, and Drew McIntyre all have contracts expiring.
