IMPACT Wrestling continues to prepare for its rebranding ahead of Hard To Kill, when TNA Wrestling relaunches.
Ahead of the major pay-per-view event, it has been revealed on Fightful’s In The Weeds that Jade Chung has signed on with the company as its new ring announcer.
Chung, wife of IMPACT star Josh Alexander and previously a part of the broadcast team, will be taking over the duties from celebrated announcer Dave Penzer following his final show with the company at Final Resolution.
In addition, Scott D’Amore teased a big signing still to come with TNA during his appearance on Busted Open Radio, stating:
“We’re going to have a lot of fun. We’re going to have surprises for you, some unexpected things, including, we are right there at the goal line of finalizing one of, I think, one of the biggest signings in TNA. I think it’s something that is really going to shake things up on January 13. If you’ve been saying, ‘I’m looking for something different.’ We’re giving you a lot. Someone we have in store for you that night is going to blow your socks off.”
The news follows the signing of KUSHIDA and Trent Seven and re-signing of Eddie Edwards to the company.
