As first reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer and then confirmed by Fightful, AEW Vice President of Post Production Kevin Sullivan has been let go.
The report from Fightful notes Mike Mansury, the Senior Vice President and Co-Executive Producer reportedly made the call. Sullivan, who has no relation to the former NWA/WCW wrestler by the same name, had been with AEW since its launch back in October 2019.
Prior to joining AEW, Sullivan had been with IMPACT Wrestling for 14 years, where he held the position of Vice President of Production/Executive Producer/Development/Creative Director.
Sullivan also runs his own post-production studio in Nashville, TN.
IMPACT Wrestling ring announcer David Penzer responded to Fightful’s report and clarified that Sullivan was the Vice President of Post Production, which means at his studio he had edited Rampage, did packages for AEW TV and PPV’s, promo advertisements, etc. Penzer also stated that this move would not affect AEW’s live production.
