WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Sytch (Sunny) was found guilty and sentenced to 17 years in prison, on Monday in relation to the deadly crash on March 25, 2022 in Ormond Beach, Florida, killing 75-year old Julian Lassiter.
The sentencing took place in Dayton Beach, Florida.
Sytch was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the deadly crash. At the time of the crash, Sytch’s blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit.
Circuit Judge Karen A. Foxman sentenced Sytch as follows:
-10.6625 years in the Florida state Department of Corrections for one count of causing death while operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. The Judge also said Sytch will receive credit for 566 days already served in jail.
On charges of one count of DUI causing death (DUI Manslaughter, a felony in the third degree), Sytch was sentenced to seven years after she serves the 10.6625 years for the first charge.
On the four counts of DUI causing injury to a person, and three counts of DUI causing damage to property, the Judge issued a credit of 364 days that Sytch already previously served in jail.
Sytch will then serve eight years of probation and will undergo a substance abuse evaluation, 50 hours of community service, a have to pay a $10,000 fine. Her driver’s license has also been permanently revoked.
After the sentencing, Sytch had no questions for the Judge.
Sytch has 30 days to appeal the sentencing.
