AEW Continental Classic
During Saturday night’s AEW Collision, Tony Khan and Bryan Danielson appeared in a pre-recorded backstage segment, announcing the Continental Classic Tournament.
The tournament will last six-weeks, taking two groups of six AEW stars who will compete in a round-robin style tournament, which is similar to NJPW’s G1 Climax tournament. Khan then announced the tournament will begin on the Wednesday, November 22 episode of Dynamite at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago.
The tournament will conclude at the Worlds End PPV at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, NY on Saturday, December 30.
Bryan Danielson, who is currently out with an orbital injury is the first entrant. Khan also announced that Danielson will part of All In on August 25, 2024 at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
