WWE SmackDown kicks off with Kevin Owens walking down as he joins the commentating team for the show.
Owens has a seat with Michael Cole and Kevin Patrick as the LWO’s music hits and they make their way down to the ring. Rey welcomes everyone to the show and he talks about losing his United States Championship against Logan Paul at Crown Jewel. Rey says Logan stole his title but he believes that Logan could not beat him if it were not for the brass knuckles. He says he will do what it takes to get a rematch.
As he is talking, Carlito’s music hits. Carlito gets in the ring and says Carlito wants to talk about Crown Jewel. He tells Rey that he is blaming the wrong person. He should blame the person who left the brass knuckles on the ring apron for him, Santos Escobar!
Carlito and Santos get into an argument as the LWO tries to break it up. Santos leaves the ring as Rey and Zelina Vega follow him with the rest of the LWO in the ring.
Bobby Lashley’s music hits and out he comes with the Street Profits for his match against Carlito.
-Commercial Break-
Bobby Lashley with Street Profits vs. Carlito with LWO
The bell rings and we are under way. Lashley with a shoulder tackle onto Carlito followed by spears in the corner. We cut backstage and see B-Fab watching the match. Back in the ring, Lashley with a neck breaker and he goes for the Hurt Lock but Carlito with a jaw breaker counters it. Carlito with a cross body followed by a clothesline. Carlito runs to the ropes but Lashley with a right hand. He goes for a vertical suplex but Carlito lands on his feet and he hits Carlito with a vertical suplex!
Carlito clotheslines Lashley to the outside of the ring. Carlito to the outside as he grabs Lashley but Lashley throws him face first into the ring steps. Lashley throws Carlito into the barricade. Lashley throws Carlito into the ring post.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Carlito with a shoulder tackle off the top rope. We see Ashante Adonis talking to B-Fab backstage. Back in the ring, Lashley is thrown to the outside. Carlito with a splash onto him on the outside. Carlito throws Lashley back into the ring. Ford grabs Carlito but Carlito with a right hand onto Ford. The LWO get involved as they fight the Street Profits on the outside of the ring.
Santos Escobar runs down and breaks it up. In the ring, Carlito is distracted as Lashley hits him with the spear. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winner: Bobby Lashley
The Street Profits attack Carlito after the ring as Santos Escobar gets on the ring apron and watches them. He doesn’t help Carlito and Rey’s music hits as he runs down to the ring and the Street Profits leave. Rey gets into Escobar’s face and they argue. Rey pushes Escobar and tells him that they are a family. Rey checks up on Carlito and Escobar attacks Rey from behind. Rey gets to his feet and they argue. Rey slaps Escobar numerous times and Escobar falls onto the ring apron. Rey checks up on him on the ring apron and Rey apologizes. Escobar pushes Rey into the ring post and he falls onto the ring steps. Rey’s leg is stuck between the ring steps and the ring apron. Escobar runs and lands a drop kick onto the ring steps, crushing Rey’s leg.
Santos tells Rey he loves him as Zelina breaks it up. He tells her that they built this together as he walks away.
-Commercial Break-
We see Santos Escobar walking with his suitcase and Cathy Kelley asks him why he attacked Rey. He tells her Rey had it coming as he storms off and leaves the arena.
We cut to highlights of the Women’s Championship match from Crown Jewel with Kairi Sane returning and IYO SKY getting the win against Bianca Belair.
Bayley’s music hits and she comes down to the ring. She says since the start of Damage CTRL, she has had a plan for them and it has always worked. From being WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions to Money in the Bank and WWE Women’s Champion. Bayley says IYO has gotten wins against the top women in the company and Crown Jewel should have been Damage CTRL’s best moment but instead she was left saying what when Kairi Sane returned. She says that is not how Damage CTRL handles things. She asks IYO to come out and for them to discuss it. Damage CTRL’s music hits and they walk down to the ring.
Bayley asks IYO what Kairi is doing here. IYO tells her she had a plan too and it’s IYO’s era. Bayley says she is happy for her but the last time they saw Kairi in WWE, this happened.
We cut to a clip from July 2020 when Bayley was attacking Kairi Sane. Back in the ring, Bayley says she can understand her concern about Kairi being back. Dakota begins to talk and says they did not bring Kairi in to hurt Bayley but to make Damage CTRL stronger.
Dakota says they are grateful for what Bayley has done for them and they wanted to take the weight off of Bayley’s shoulders and it worked. This should be a celebration.
Kairi Sane begins to talk. She tells Bayley that she respects her as a leader of Damage CTRL and she forgives her. Bayley says she doesn’t hug anymore, she doesn’t do that as fans chant “Hug it out”. Damage CTRL all hug and Bianca Belair’s music hits.
Bianca tells them that Kairi might forgive Bayley but she doesn’t forgive Damage CTRL. Her mistake was that she though IYO had enough confidence to face her one on one. But she learns from her mistakes and tonight, she will just have to beat them all up. Bayley laughs in the ring and she tells her that no one likes a sore lose. Bianca says no one likes Damage CTRL.
Charlotte Flair’s music hits and out she comes, standing next to Bianca. The fans “Woo” as Bianca tells them to guess who else was angry about Kairi joining Damage CTRL. Asuka’s music hits and out she comes. Asuka begins to speak in Japanese and she says no one is ready for Asuka as her music hits.

Cedric Alexander vs. Dragon Lee
The bell rings and we are under way. Alexander with a right hand followed by a drop kick.
He goes for the cover but Dragon Lee kicks out. Alexander throws Dragon Lee onto the ring apron but Dragon Lee with a kick to the face. Dragon Lee jumps into the ring and lands a hurricanrana and Alexander falls to the outside of the ring. Dragon Lee with a senton over the top rope. He throws Alexander back into the ring. Dragon Lee with a sitdown powerbomb. He goes for the cover but Alexander kicks out. The fans chant “This is awesome”. Dragon Lee runs towards Alexander but Alexander ducks and throws Dragon Lee in the air and he lands neck and back first in the corner.
Alexander with a right hand but Dragon Lee with a right hand. Alexander with a kick to the face. Alexander runs to the ropes but Dragon Lee lands a release German suplex. Dragon Lee runs towards Cedric but Cedric with a modified dragon fly. He goes for the cover but Dragon Lee kicks out. Alexander runs towards Dragon Lee but Dragon Lee with a kick to the face. He runs towards Cedric but Cedric with a Michinoku driver! He goes for the cover but Dragon Lee kicks out. He goes for the Lumbar Check but Dragon Lee reverses it into a cover but Cedric kicks out. Dragon Lee with a spinning reverses neck breaker!
Winner: Dragon Lee
-Commercial Break-
LA Knight’s music hits and he comes down to the ring to a loud pop from the crowd. He says Crown Jewel did not go exactly as he hoped for and he can come out and say he is sorry. He fell short, he didn’t live up to the expectations. The fans chant “Yes you did”. He tells them that he won’t say that because he would be a liar. He did what he said he was going to do. He took Roman Reigns to an inch of that WWE Championship and he had him for the 1-2-3 if not for Jimmy Uso.
The fans boo and LA Knight says he got robbed. He tells Roman to give Jimmy a raise, a promotion, the pleasure he can give him anyway he can because the bottom line is if he was not there, we would be looking at a new WWE Champion. A lot of people might think it’s back to the drawing board and back of the line.
LA Knight says nah, he is not done with the Bloodline. The Bloodline is not done with him until he owns Roman Reigns and he owns the WWE Championship. Grayson Waller’s music hits.
He tells LA Knight that he is blaming everyone but himself. But he needs some honesty because the truth is that everyone knows it, maybe he is just not the guy. Waller says but he knows someone who is the guy. LA Knight calls him a kangaroo jackass. Waller calls LA Knight a comedian. He asks LA Knight if he really thinks that he belongs in the ring with Roman Reigns? LA Knight looks at the crowd and the fans chant “Yeah”. He asks the fans if the Grayson Waller Effect sounds like an STD. He says Waller got dropped by a Saudi movie star at Crown Jewel and he is out here asking if he belongs in the ring with Roman Reigns.
LA Knight says when he looks at Waller, he sees a child who looks like he is about to take his school pictures. And talking about school, he looks like he is not allowed with 50 yards of a school. He says to be serious, Waller got himself in a lot of hot water because he got himself a match with him because he wanted to play a game with him. He says you can take the boy out of the mom’s basement but you can’t take the basement out of the boy. While Waller is worried about if he belongs in the ring with Roman Reigns, he found himself in the ring with a very angry and frustrated him. And he will take that all out on him with everyone saying LA Knight! And LA Knight hits him with a microphone and Waller falls to the outside of the ring.

LA Knight vs. Grayson Waller
The bell rings and we are under way. LA Knight with a clothesline followed by a suplex. He goes for the cover but Waller kicks out. LA Knight throws Waller to the ropes but Waller rolls to the outside of the ring. He drags LA Knight to the outside of LA Knight with a right hand. He throws Waller face first into the ring apron. He throws Waller back in the ring and goes for the cover but Waller kicks out. A swinging neck breaker by LA Knight. He goes for the cover but Waller kicks out. LA Knight with a right hand but Waller with a big right hand.
Waller goes for a right hand but LA Knight with a right hand. Waller runs towards LA Knight but throws Waller to the outside of the ring. LA Knight slams Waller face first into the announce table. LA Knight gets back into the ring to break the count and back to the outside. Waller trips LA Knight face first into the announce table. He throws LA Knight into the ring steps. Waller with a clothesline.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, LA Knight is on the ring apron and Waller throws him shoulder first into the ring post. Waller goes for the cover but LA Knight kicks out. Waller with a half crab in the middle of the ring. Waller lets go of it and stomps on LA Knight. Waller climbs the second rope and walks across it, landing an elbow drop. He goes for the cover but LA Knight kicks out. Waller once more climbs the second rope and he goes for the elbow but LA Knight moves out of the way. Waller runs towards LA Knight but he lowers the top rope and Waller to the outside. Waller runs into the ring but LA Knight with a back suplex. LA Knight with a right hand and he throws Waller to the ropes and LA Knight with a right hand. LA Knight with a Russian leg sweep followed by a DDT. He goes for the cover but Waller kicks out. He grabs Waller but Waller with a right hand. Waller runs to the ropes but LA Knight hits him with a body slam. LA Knight runs to the ropes and hits Waller with a jumping elbow. He hits Waller with the BFT. LA Knight goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winner: LA Knight
-Commercial Break-
Austin Theory and Grayson Waller come walking down and Theory pushes Owens. Michael Cole tells Owens not to get suspended. Waller pours water onto Owens as he laughs and throws the empty bottle of water onto Kevin Patrick. Theory and Waller laugh and walk away. Owens puts his headset on and says he can accept getting pushed and having water poured on him but he can’t accept Waller throwing a water bottle onto Kevin Patrick and he has to go get suspended. Owens gets up and attacks Waller and Theory from behind. He throws Theory into the ring and goes for the Stunner but Theory rolls to the outside of the ring. Waller gets in the ring and Owens hits him with the Stunner.
-Commercial Break-
Jimmy Uso cuts a promo backstage saying if LA Knight wants him next week, he has him. Jimmy gets a call from Roman and he looks nervous. Jimmy hangs up and looks at the camera as we cut to the ring.
Bayley, Kairi Sane and IYO SKY with Dakota Kai vs. Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair and Asuka
The bell rings and we are under way. Bianca with a dropkick onto Bayley followed by a body slam. Bianca with a standing moon sault as she goes for the cover but Bayley kicks out. Bayley rolls to the outside of the ring and Bianca jumps over the top rope onto the outside.
-Commercial Break-
Back from commercial, Bianca with a vertical suplex onto Sane. Bianca on the ring apron but IYO grabs her leg. Bianca kicks her away. Sane grabs Bianca and slams her arm onto the top rope. IYO and Sane double team Bianca as Bayley distracts the referee. Sane stomps on Bianca in the corner. Sane climbs the top rope and a flying punch. She goes for the cover but Bianca kicks out. IYO is tagged in and they double team Bianca. Bayley tags herself in and she stomps on Bianca in the corner. Bayley runs towards Bianca but Bianca throws her onto the ring apron. Bianca with a right hand. She goes for the tag but SAne gets in the ring. Bianca throws her to the outside. Bianca goes for the tag but Sane throws Flair into the ring steps. Bayley gets back in the ring and hits Bianca with right hands. Bayley grabs Bianca by the hair but Bianca pulls her towards her and hits her with a spinebuster.
Bianca goes to tag Asuka but Asuka pulls her arm and hits Bianca with the blue mist. Asuka gets in the ring and hits Bianca with a kick to the side of the head. Asuka looks at Sane and they hug in the middle of the ring. IYO gets in the ring and they all hug. Bayley joins them and they all hug. Flair gets in the ring and attacks them but the Damage CTRL attack Flair as the referee calls for the bell.
Winners: No contest
Damage CTRL and Asuka attack Flair after the match. Shotzi runs down and attacks Bayley but Damage CTRL attack Shotzi. Bianca gets in the ring and tries to fight back but Damage CTRL attack her. Kairi Sane with the InSane elbow onto Bianca Belair. Damage CTRL stand tall as SmackDown goes off the air.
