The finish to the Fatal Four-Way Match on RAW saw The Miz pin Bronson Reed to become the new #1 Contender to the Intercontinental Championship, but a report from Dave Meltzer made note of a botch in the proceedings:
Ivar attacked Miz after the match, leading to a singles match announced for next week, with the planned finish possibly setting the match up to be for the #1 Contender’s spot.
As it stands, The Miz is set to challenge Gunther for the title at the Survivor Series PLE on Saturday, November 25.
