Gunther will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series against The Miz.
The Miz defeated Bronson Reed, Ricochet, and Ivar in a Fatal 4-Way No. 1 Contender’s Match on Monday Night’s Raw. He pinned Bronson Reed for the win.
This will be the first time since 2016 that the WWE Intercontinental Championship will be defended at Survivor Series. The Miz had successfully defended the title against Sami Zayn at the 2016 event.
WWE Survivor Series, featuring WarGames will take place on Saturday, November 25 at the AllState Arena in Rosemont, IL The event will air live on Peacock in the United States and on the WWE Network everywhere else, beginning at 8:00 pm ET.
