Speculation on CM Punk showing up in IMPACT was further spiked after a report from Haus of Wrestling, stating that the former AEW World Champion attended tapings the day after Bound For Glory.
The report notes that he spoke with a number of people including “key IMPACT talent” throughout the taping.
According to the report, Punk did not spend much time with his friend Ace Steel, who was reported as coming on board as a producer for the PPV and the tapings after, but that Steel was received warmly backstage.
This marks the second time Punk has been to IMPACT this year, following the tapings in Chicago back in April.
Much speculation continues to build around where Punk will go next in pro wrestling, following his termination from AEW on September 2.
