Backstage update on the future of AEW Fight Forever

According to a report from Fightful Select, some of AEW’s newest talent acquisitions, such as Adam Copeland and Koto Ibushi have been scanned so that their digital avatars can be eventually included in the AEW Fight Forever video game.

Fightful Select also notes AEW Fight Forever”will remain the games title for the foreseeable future. It was additionally stated that instead of a sequel, it’s expected the game’s creators will just keep adding updates.

Furthermore, Fightful Select notes the game reportedly recently has not been talked about much behind the scenes, with conversations dwindling within management circles. Fightful Select also states that the game has rarely been mentioned backstage or at meetings.

Fightful Select concluded by noting that AEW referee Aubrey Edwards, who also works with the company’s gaming division, revealed that she is no longer involved with updates and any future developments of the game. However, Edwards will continue to be part of the branding process for the game.
