AAA Star Suffers Severe Leg Injury
AAA minis star, Mascarita Divina, suffered severe injuries to his leg at the “Guerra de Titanes” show this past weekend. Divina fractured both the tibia & femur in one of his legs. This type of injury is extremely bad, especially for a high flyer, and he could be out for a year or longer.

– Joe & Nicho successfully defend their titles for the 10th time. That is by far the record (the closest is Crazy Boy & Lider with 2) but of course this belt is only 3 (going on 4) years old. Marco was supposedly injured in the match (his leg). Nicho & Joe retain again (courtesy of SuperLuchas):
– Latin Lover is the next in line for a World Title shot with his win. Does that make any sense? Nope.
– In probably the surprise of the night Sexy Star retains her mask and takes the hair of the gorgeous Faby Apache. That one just makes me scratch my head. This was Faby’s 4th Luchas de Apuestas Match and her first loss. This was Sexy’s first ever.
– Had Wagner retained his belt then he would have broken the record of most successful title reigns but since Mesias won it for a record 3rd time (only he had won it twice anyway) the record stands at 3 successful defenses by both Wagner & Cibernetico back in 2008. It took Mesias 5 matches to actually beat Wagner. Another interesting (but stupid) note is that Wagner never defended the belt without Mesias being in the match.

– That’s right AAA has created yet another Psicosis & Histeria. It’s the third version of both characters. At least they are debuting a new character as well in Amnesia. There is alot of rumors of the internet about who the new Histeria & Psicosis’ are but nothing has been confirmed (and likely won’t). Ryo Saito Suffers Injury
Dragon Gate star, Ryo Saito, suffered a ruptured Achilles Tendon this past week (a very severe injury). Saito is one of Dragon Gate’s top starts and this sort of injury typically keeps an athlete out for at least 4-6 months. The remaining dates with him on the schedule will have a replacement.
