At one point, linebacker Dennis Gardeck appeared to give tribute to AEW star Daniel Garcia with a dance reminiscent of Garcia’s recent shenanigans as “sports entertainer,” a moment acknowledged by the former ROH Pure Champion himself on social media.
In possibly the most viral play of the day, a referee who fell over after a late hit out of bounds sat up in a manner similar to The Undertaker before throwing a flag on the play, though the tribute to the WWE Hall of Famer may be more incidental.
