Hello everyone, and welcome to the latest trek to the land of the Sunshine State with this week’s FCW report. Happy to report to all the readers that you WILL be getting the Florida Feedback this week, making its return after a 1-week hiatus. So, if you all are ready, then let’s get on with the show!

Our announcers this week are new announcer Chris Russo & Byron Saxton.

FCW Tag Team Titles: Brad Maddox & Briley Pierce defeated CJ Parker & Donny Marlow (c) by pinfall to win the titles when Pierce pinned Parker with a reversal of an attempted O’Connor Roll.

FLORIDA FEEDBACK: OK match, mainly though used to continue the ongoing angle between Pierce and Maddox. Shame because Parker & Marlow were doing real well as the champions, but it seems like the Maddox/Pierce deal is more of a priority at this point. Marlow & Parker are good babyfaces, Marlow sold the leg nicely and Parker had good energy in the hot tag. Pierce looked solid in the ring and Maddox was decent in his role. Good effort but just an OK match.

Calvin Raines defeated Kevin Hackman by disqualification when Raines kicked Hackman low, but then feigned that it was Hackman who kicked him, and the referee disqualified Hackman.

FLORIDA FEEDBACK: Hackman is improving on the selling aspect, but everything else here was not good. Both guys are green as grass and are not ready at all. Movements were clunky, a lot of stuff looked forced, and was a bad match overall.

Mr. Antonio Cesaro cuts a promo saying he will become the 1st Swiss born WWE Champion.

FLORIDA FEEDBACK: Good promo from Cesaro, who is getting over as this cocky, foreigner heel.

We go to the back where FCW General Manager Maxine runs into Bo Rotundo. She says that if there is anything Rotundo needs, to let her know. Rotundo says that when he is healthy to compete, he would like a title shot. Maxine she’ll think about that, then begins to flirt with Rotundo as Derrick Bateman walks in. Bateman and Maxine argue, playing up the NXT relationship, as Bateman leaves and Richie Steamboat goes over to talk to Maxine.

FLORIDA FEEDBACK: Nice to see FCW play up the BateMax stuff, but also weird because they were teasing for the longest time something between Maxine and William Regal. Now it looks like they may start something with Maxine and Rotundo, but time will tell on that. Also, Richie Steamboat is not good at anything he does, that is all.

Dean Ambrose cuts a promo challenging Damien Sandow for the FCW 15 Title.

FLORIDA FEEDBACK: Good promo by Ambrose, who continues to get over his madman heel character.

“Mr. Jacked” Nick Rogers & Big E. Langston defeated Jiro & Sakamoto by pinfall when Rogers pinned Jiro with an elbow drop.

FLORIDA FEEDBACK: Jiro & Sakamoto, for those who have never heard of them, were trained in the Kaientai Dojo by former WWE Light Heavyweight Champion Taka Michinoku. They didn’t get to show off a whole lot in this match, as this match was mainly a showcase for Rogers & Langston, who worked pretty good as a team. Langston is a solid big-man worker, and Rogers has good charisma as this narcissist like heel. Mainly a squash, but good effort by all 4.

Before our main event, we go to the back where Richie Steamboat is standing over a fallen Husky Harris, and asking for help. We then see that there was a baseball bat beside Husky, and Steamboat picks it up, staring at it.

FLORIDA FEEDBACK: Good angle to continue the Steamboat/Harris feud, but Steamboat’s acting here was atrocious.

Main Event for the Florida Heavyweight Title: Leo Kruger (c) defeated Abraham Washington by pinfall to retain the title by using the ropes for leverage.

FLORIDA FEEDBACK: Very good main event. Kruger was really good as the cocky champion who underestimated Washington and nearly lost the title, but cheated to hold on to it. Washington did a good job selling in Kruger’s control segment, and showed nice fire on his comebacks. Went maybe a little long with the false finishes, but didn’t deteriorate the match overall. Good match that I would recommend checking out.

Overall, an OK show with 2 good promos and a very good main event.

My Grade: C+
