CHIKARA welcomes Ayako Hamada to December’s JoshiMania tour!
Philadelphia, Boston and Manhattan are in for a rare treat the first weekend of December – as 12 stars of joshi team-up with the CHIKARA gang to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime extravaganza called JoshiMania!
The final new participant to join this event is former star of ARSION and even TNA, Ayako Hamada! Alongside such legendary figures as Manami Toyota, Aja Kong and Mayumi Ozaki, Hamada headlines this one-of-a-kind event, inspired by Itsuki Yamazaki of the famed Jumping Bomb Angels!

Not only will selected wrestlers spend 90 minutes in the ring with Satomura, but they will also be observed by the acting presidents of several joshi organizations.
This is a tremendous opportunity, not just to learn first-hand from the most respected female trainer active in Japan today, but to also impress the heads of several joshi organizations as well! Fresh off “A Rumble to Remember” the historic event on November 11th that featured AOD/CWE’s second standing room only audience this year Winnipeg gears up for yet another huge event on December 16th. AOD/CWE has never hosted an event in the month of December and with it being 9 days out from Christmas management is presenting “Fan Appreciation Night” to say thank you to Winnipeg’s most loyal audience to end the year. Tickets are only $10 for this event. This is the “go home” show to the 3rd year anniversary show and many of the company’s hottest feuds will continue to heat up and some explode just in time for the holiday season! CWE Champion Mentallo & CWE Tag Team Champions Team Impact (Robby Royce & Anderson Tyson Moore) vs. “Hotshot” Danny Duggan & The Big Sexy Beasts (AJ Sanchez & Kevy Chevy)
The six top ranked regularly active wrestlers in the province will step in the ring in what truly is an early Christmas present for wrestling fans in Manitoba. “Hotshot” Danny Duggan is fresh off winning the 50 man rumble to become the new number one contender for the CWE championship and The Big Sexy Beasts just recently won the number one contendership for the CWE tag team titles by defeating The Murder City Saints. All three men look to make one last impression on the champions they challenge at the 3rd year anniversary show in January. Not only have the Alliance of Defiance won control of the company they have been dominant competitors in their respective divisions with Mentallo holding the CWE championship for 14 months, Team Impact nearing a year reign in February, and Moses Luke winning the 123Approved.ca Open Rules title last month. Winning is what the AOD do and they look to stop the momentum of Duggan, Sanchez, and Chevy before it can continue to increase before their title matches. Any match can be put in a main event but this 6-man tag truly defines the meaning! Wrestling fans get geared up for what will be a showdown for the ages!
“The Canadian Crime Spree” Spyder returns to the ring!
The most violent man in the history of Canadian wrestling returned last month to aid his long time friend Darren “The Bomb” Dalton in his brutal war with The Sons of Anarchy, “Misfit” Mike Mission & “Big” Cliff Corleone. Spyder appeared to be more violent and aggressive as ever as Dalton and himself assaulted the SOA throughout the Polish Fraternal Hall. We quickly learned following this attack that The Original Thug Crew of Spyder and Darren Dalton are back together and have blood on their minds when it comes to Mission and Corleone. For the first time in over three years Spyder and Dalton will team together at Fan Appreciation Night against a to be announced tag team in what they are explaining with be a demonstration to Mission and Corleone on what they have in store when they officially step in the ring. Stay tuned!
