We go live in the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The new Raw commentary team, Michael Cole and Wade Barrett, welcome us to the show. The first hour of the show will be commercial-free. Cole talks about SummerSlam being the highest-grossing and most-watched event.
“Wrestling has more than one royal family.”
“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes makes his entrance to an enormous reception from the Minneapolis crowd. Rhodes enters the ring and smiles as a “Cody” chant fires up. Rhodes poses for them. Rhodes was victorious over Brock Lesnar this past Saturday at SummerSlam. Rhodes lifts the microphone to speak, but he’s interrupted by another “Cody” chant. Rhodes says, “So, Minneapolis… what do you want to talk about?” Rhodes wants to talk about one of their own… a Beast that had his claws sharpened here, educated here, became champion here, the University of Minnesota’s own Brock Lesnar. Rhodes has had the privilege, honor, and misery of standing across from the Beast and surviving him. That’s one thing. What happened next, he could have never imagined.
An image is shown of Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes shaking hands at SummerSlam. Rhodes had a conversation with his mother this morning about the situation. He told her he was shocked. She said, “Dummy, don’t you know what just happened? Brock Lesnar acknowledged you.” The crowd cheers knowingly. Rhodes says after SummerSlam, he feels on top of the world. Rhodes feels like he can beat anybody in the world.
“BURN IT DOWN!”
World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins makes his way to the ring in wild oversized yellow boots. Rhodes looks intrigued. Rhodes and Rollins stand across from each other in the ring. Rollins walks to the side to retrieve a microphone. The crowd is singing Rollins’ song loudly. Rollins shouts, “Minneapolis, welcome to Monday Night Rollins!” The last time he came out here to address the future of the World Heavyweight Championship, Rhodes was the first man to walk down the aisle and get in his face. This is Rollins returning the favor. Rollins asks if he heard right when Rhodes said he feels he can beat anyone in the world. If that’s the case, why don’t we put that feeling to the test?
The Judgment Day’s music hits. Señor Money in the Bank Damian Priest walks out alongside Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley and NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio. Priest says they think they run Monday Night Raw, but it’s the Judgment Day. Priest says that the Judgment Day dictates what happens with championships around here, more specifically Señor Money in the Bank does. We already have the most dominant World Champion here in Rhea Ripley. We have the North American Champion Dominik Mysterio. Mysterio’s name gets huge boos. Rhodes might be done with the Beast, but “Dirty” Dom isn’t done with him. Mysterio is the workhorse. He’ll be defending his title on NXT. What will Rhodes and Rollins be doing?
Mysterio gets in Rhodes’ face. Mysterio goes to speak, but the crowd loudly boos him down. All of a sudden, Finn Bálor attacks Rollins from behind. Mysterio works on Rhodes. Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Sami Zayn runs down to make the save. Zayn clotheslines Priest out of the ring. Rhodes hits Mysterio with a Cody Cutter. Bálor gets punched by both Zayn and Rhodes. Rollins then big boots Bálor out of the ring with his oversized yellow boot.
Rhodes stands on the middle turnbuckle and challenges them. Rhodes says he has a solution for all of this. There are three of them and three of them in the ring. Tonight, in Minneapolis, he, Zayn, and Rollins face the Judgment Day. The crowd loudly cheers.
Later tonight, we’ll see exactly what went down in Tribal Combat between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso.
Replays are shown of the brutal match-up with Gunther and Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam. Gunther defeated McIntyre to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Earlier today, Ricochet is complaining to WWE Official Adam Pearce about Logan Paul using brass knuckles at SummerSlam. Chad Gable, Matt Riddle, and Tommaso Ciampa walk up. Pearce says he’s going to make a Fatal 4-Way to determine who will next face Gunther. Gable says we’re in his home territory, and he’ll teach Gunther a lesson he’ll never forget.
As Ricochet makes his entrance, replays are shown of Logan Paul using brass knuckles to defeat Ricochet at SummerSlam.
#1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way
Ricochet vs. Matt Riddle vs. Tommaso Ciampa vs. Chad Gable
The winner of this match will face Gunther for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
The bell rings, and they all cautiously approach each other. Ricochet dropkicks Gable. They all trade pins for one-counts before winding up in a stalemate. The crowd chants for Gable, who poses for them. Ricochet takes Gable down. Ciampa and Riddle go at it. Riddle and Gable then apply stereo ankle locks to Ciampa and Gable, respectively. Ciampa and Gable pull themselves out of the ring to get out of the hold. Gable and Riddle are left in the ring. Gable picks the leg, but Riddle quickly twists out. They tussle around before getting into a stalemate. Ciampa clunks the skulls of Gable and Riddle. Ciampa gets Gable out of the ring and turns into a springboard clothesline from Ricochet. Ricochet hits a standing moonsault for a two-count. Ricochet lifts Ciampa, but he slides off. Riddle crushes Ricochet with a fisherman’s buster, but Gable breaks up the pin. Gable hits a hangman DDT, but Ciampa breaks it up. Ciampa hits Gable with a reverse DDT, but Ricochet breaks that up. Ciampa stuns Ricochet with a forearm. Ricochet gets out of a Fairy Tale Ending and hits a snap kick to the face for a two-count. Ricochet sets Ciampa up and goes to the top rope. Riddle quickly cuts him off and stands on the top rope. Ciampa climbs up after them. Gable then comes up and suplexes Ciampa, who suplexes Riddle, who turns Ricochet inside out with an INSANE backflip slam!
Gable goes for Chaos Theory on Ciampa, but Ciampa gets out. Gable then applies an ankle lock to Ciampa. Ciampa gets to the bottom rope, but there are rope breaks or disqualifications. Riddle wipes Gable out with a knee to the face. Riddle powerbombs Gable and knees him in the face. Riddle coves but lets it go. Ricochet hits Gable with a standing shooting star press. Riddle hits Ricochet with an exploder. Riddle then takes Ciampa out with a Final Flash Knee. Ciampa stumbles to the corner. Riddle puts Ciampa on the top rope and climbs up. Riddle hits Ciampa with a superplex. All of a sudden, Ricochet and Gable hit them with a shooting star press and a splash, respectively, however, Riddle and Ciampa get the knees up and pin them for near falls!
The crowd chants, “This is awesome.” All four men are down. They all trade punches and chops from their knees. Riddle kicks Ciampa, but Ciampa blocks it, bends Riddle’s toes, and stomps his foot. Gable then clotheslines Ricochet out of the ring. Gable hits the ropes, but he falls out after the top rope is pulled down. Riddle hits Gable with a wild springboard Floating Bro. Riddle goes to get in the ring, but Ciampa hits Willow’s Bell. Ricochet then hits Gable with a somersault senton! Ricochet goes to the apron and does a springboard, but Ciampa knees him out of midair! Ciampa follows up with Project Ciampa on Ricochet! 1… 2… Ricochet kicks out!
Riddle grabs Ciampa in the ring and hits Bro Derek. Gable breaks up the pin with a diving head-butt. All four men are down again. A “Gable” chant picks up again. Gable gets to his feet and trades punches with Riddle. Gable ducks a kick and goes for Chaos Theory, but Ricochet counters and hits Riddle with a Recoil. Gable goes for Chaos Theory on Ricochet, but Ciampa hits Ricochet with a Famouser! Gable then crushes Ciampa with Chaos Theory for the win! Ciampa kicked out half a second too late!
Winner by Pinfall: Chad Gable
WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther is shown smirking backstage as he watches the results of this match. The crowd gives Chad Gable a loud ovation. Gable grabs his little son and runs around ringside with him. Gable’s son is dressed like his father. Gable kisses his cheek and says “I love you!”
Video Package: Cody Rhodes defeats Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Lesnar put over Rhodes and showed him respect after the match.
Cody Rhodes is talking with Sami Zayn backstage when an angry Seth “Freakin” Rollins walks up. Rollins says he wants this match, but he doesn’t want to be on a team with Rhodes. Zayn says he knows that there are a lot of issues here, but they can take out the Judgment Day tonight. They put Kevin Owens, who is friends with all three, on the shelf. They can deal with the Judgment Day once and for all. Can they get past all the issues? Rhodes says he’s cool. Rollins puts his head down and thinks before saying, “Yeah… I’m cool.” Rhodes and Rollins walk off in opposite directions. Zayn says that didn’t feel cool.
Video Package: Jimmy Uso cost his brother Jey Uso the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in Tribal Combat at SummerSlam.
Jimmy Uso returns to the Bloodline this Friday on SmackDown. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will also be on the show.
The Miz is backstage waiting for a photoshoot. The photographer says he’ll have to wait. LA Knight is shown taking a bunch of photos. Miz is upset by this vision.
Replays are shown from three weeks ago of Tommaso Ciampa attacking Bronson Reed, costing Shinsuke Nakamura the match by disqualification.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. “Big” Bronson Reed
They lock up, and Reed backs him into the ropes before giving a clean break. Nakamura stomps the mat and walks around. Reed backs Nakamura into the corner and lets him go without doing anything to him. Reed applies a side headlock. Nakamura whips him off, but Reed easily runs him over before doing Nakamura’s “Come on” taunt. Nakamura strikes away at Reed and takes him down to the mat. Reed ducks a spin kick, but Nakamura gets away from him. Reed connects with a back elbow. Nakamura pops up and fights back, but Reed still takes him down. Reed flexes his muscles. Reed lifts Nakamura up, but Nakamura slides off. Nakamura goes for a sunset flip, but Reed stays standing. Reed goes for a cannonball, but Nakamura moves. Nakamura catches him with a sliding kick and digs his boot into his chest with some good vibrations. Nakamura then tells Reed, “Come on!” Reed charges, but Nakamura knocks him out of the ring. Nakamura knocks Reed into the commentary table. Reed shoves him away and gets in the ring. Nakamura follows him into the ring and hits the ropes, but Reed lifts him. Nakamura slides out and hits the ropes, but Reed avalanches him down. Reed then crushes Nakamura with a leaping elbow drop.
Nakamura rolls to the apron to try to catch his breath. Nakamura kicks him in the head, but Reed responds with an avalanche off the apron.

Picture-in-Picture Commercial Break: The referee backs Reed up. Nakamura holds his chest at ringside and rolls back into the ring. Reed immediately stomps Nakamura and stands on him. Reed taunts the crowd before applying a neck vice to Nakamura. Nakamura starts to fight up, so Reed grounds him with a bear hug. Nakamura fights up, slides out of his grip, and hits an overhead kick. Nakamura hits the ropes, but Reed takes him back down with a big boot. Reed taunts the crowd and applies a chin lock.
We return from the break to see Nakamura kick his way out of the chin lock. Reed elbows him back and charges, but Nakamura boots him back. Nakamura then comes off the second rope with a diving kick to the chest. Nakamura kicks and punches away at Reed, stunning the big man. Reed puts the brakes on a whip and sends Nakamura into the ropes. Nakamura rebounds with a running kick for a two-count. Nakamura goes to the second rope and dives, but Reed grabs him. Reed hits a snap powerslam and nearly spikes Nakamura on his head after not rotating enough. That looked scary. Reed hits a running sit-out powerbomb for a near fall! Reed cannot believe it.
Reed goes to the top rope, but Nakamura lays him out for a knee to the ribs. Nakamura signals for a Kinshasa, but Reed scoops him up and hits a nasty Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Reed signals for another powerbomb, but Nakamura gets out. Nakamura whiffs on a rebound kick, so Reed clotheslines him down. Reed heads to the top rope for a Tsunami, but Nakamura moves! Nakamura follows up with a Kinshasa to the back of the head. Nakamura goes to the corner and hits a second Kinshasa for the win.

Replays are shown from three weeks ago of Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley costing Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Last week, Rodriguez returned, but Rhea Ripley managed to hurt Rodriguez’s knee again.
Earlier today, a WWE medical official told WWE Offical Adam Pearce that Raquel Rodriguez is still not ready to compete. A dejected Rodriguez listened to the news alongside Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell.
“The Man” Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring with new hair color. It’s half-red and half-blonde. We’ll hear from Lynch next.

Maxxine Dupri is talking on the phone. Ludwig Kaiser walks up to her, and she looks disgusted. Kaiser says he wants to congratulate Chad Gable and inform him that “The Ring General” is looking forward to wiping the ring with him. She tells him to get out of their locker room. Kaiser says she has all the potential in the world, but some people are just better than others. Kaiser has A+ for everything. The guys she is running around with aren’t. He calls Otis a “big, disgusting freak,” so she slaps him. Otis gets in his face and challenges Kaiser to a match tonight. Kaiser agrees to the match. Kaiser is looking forward to seeing Maxxine as well.
Becky Lynch addresses facing Trish Stratus next week
Replays are shown of Zoey Stark immediately breaking up the match with Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus last week on Raw. Lynch fought them off until Stratus hit Lynch with a chair. Adam Pearce informed Stratus that she would face Lynch again with Stark barred from ringside. This match will take place next week on Raw.
Becky Lynch stands in the ring and listens to a “Becky” chant. Lynch says, “The Man has come around to Minneapolis!” She says she is so close to the end. It has been months of doing everything in her power. She has been fighting, talking, scratching, clawing, winning, losing, overcoming odds, and failing again. She is tired and weary, but she is also hopeful and ready to put an end to this saga and charade when she finally gets a rematch next week against Trish Stratus. It’s the greatest of that generation versus the greatest of this generation until infinity. There will be no interference from Zoey Stark.
Zoey Stark interrupts and comes out to the stage. Stark says Trish has already beaten Lynch, as has Stark. Stark says Lynch is afraid of her. Lynch asks what she’s doing. Lynch knows how good Stark is. Maybe she’s too good for her own good. Stark just wants it easy and hitched her ride to Trish Stratus looking for an easy ride. Stark is too stupid to realize that Stratus is dragging her down. Stark is playing second fiddle to someone that won’t be here after next week when Lynch beats her. Stark says she doesn’t play second fiddle to anyone. Lynch is also damn right when she said Stark is very good. Lynch is jealous that Stratus kicked Lynch aside and picked her up. Stark has mastered this game.
Shayna Baszler interrupts. Baszler, fresh off a victory in an MMA Rules match against Ronda Rousey, beating her by Technical Submission, makes her way to the ring with a nasty black eye. Lynch says Baszler looks rough. Baszler says you should see what Rousey looks like, only you can’t because she beat her and drove her out of WWE. The crowd loudly cheers that and a light, “Thank you, Shayna” chant picks up. Baszler says she knows she wasn’t originally invited to this party, but she couldn’t help but feel like she was referenced when Stark said she is the baddest. Stark says Baszler is the baddest punching bag of all time. Stark says she’ll send Baszler home with her bags if she steps up to her. Lynch says those sound like fighting words. They should fight in Minneapolis. Lynch calls out Adam Pearce to make this official.
WWE Official Adam Pearce walks out to the stage. He asks for a referee and makes Shayna Baszler versus Zoey Stark official. It is next.

Video Package: Seth “Freakin” Rollins defeats Finn Bálor to retain the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE SummerSlam. There were a lot of miscommunications between Bálor and the Judgment Day, particularly Damian Priest.
Finn Bálor is talking with JD McDonagh backstage. Damian Priest comes up and tells McDonagh to go away because this is Judgment Day business. Bálor says McDonagh can stay. Priest asks what is going on with Bálor and asks where he was earlier tonight. Bálor didn’t tell them that he was going to jump Rollins. Priest says everyone knew that he came out at SummerSlam to help out. Still, even with his help, Bálor lost. Bálor blames Priest for losing. They get in each other’s faces until Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley steps between them. She cools them down. McDonagh says it is not his place, but that briefcase is getting between them. Maybe Priest should get rid of it. Bálor and McDonagh walk off. Priest isn’t happy, but Ripley keeps him back.
Tonight’s main event will see World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins team with Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Sami Zayn, and Cody Rhodes to take on Finn Bálor, Damian Priest, and NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio of Judgment Day.
Zoey Stark vs. Shayna Baszler
The bell rings, and they lock up. Baszler quickly hits a waistlock takeover. Stark fights up, but Baszler takes her down again. Becky Lynch is seated at ringside drinking lemonade. Wade Barrett says there is no bitterness in the lemonade at all. This is a reference to a post that Lynch made over the weekend, which made people suspect she was upset her match was seemingly cut from SummerSlam. Paul “Triple H” Levesque brought it up at the SummerSlam press conference in a snide way.
Anyway, back to the match, Stark gets Baszler in the corner. Stark hits a snapmare and stomps the bruised eye. Stark applies a chin lock, but Baszler quickly gets out. Baszler is holding her eye in pain. Stark digs the eye into the ropes and stomps her. Stark hits another snapmare for a one-count. Stark applies a modified chin lock with her forearm squeezing on the black eye. Baszler elbows her, but Stark takes her down. Stark applies a chin lock and drives her elbow into Baszler’s eye. The crowd cheers Baszler on. Baszler fights out, kicks away at Stark, and hits a Saito Suplex. Baszler then clotheslines Stark out of the ring.
Baszler puts Stark in the ring and (sort of) connects with a kick to the midsection. Stark soon boots her back and hits a nice springboard missile dropkick.

Picture-in-Picture Commercial Break: Stark whips Baszler sternum-first into the corner and stomps her. Stark hits a slingshot twisting senton for a near fall. Stark applies a chin lock, but Baszler throws her off. Stark quickly pops up and yanks Baszler down by the arm. Stark puts Baszler’s arm around the top rope and pulls on it. Stark connects with an arm breaker and points at Lynch. The picture-in-picture ends here.
We come back from the break to see Stark applying a chin lock. Lynch is still seated and happily sipping on lemonade. Baszler fights up and elbows her, but Stark knees her in the midsection. Stark sends her to the corner, but she misses an avalanche. Baszler hits a pair of clotheslines before hitting a bicycle knee in the corner. Baszler connects with a German Suplex followed by a running kick for a near fall. Baszler sizes Stark up for a knee, but Stark avoids it and hits a nice kick to the face for a near fall. Stark stomps Baszler and applies an armbar. Stark then lets the hold go and stomps the arm. Stark rips Baszler’s elbow guard off, but Baszler avoids a stomp. Baszler takes Stark down, but Stark quickly stuns her with a superkick. Baszler turns her inside out with an inverted gutwrench suplex for a two-count. Becky Lynch came out of her seat for that.
Stark knocks Baszler back and jumps, but Baszler goes for a Kirifuda Clutch. Stark fights it and sends Baszler out of the ring. Stark takes her down with a nice plancha and gets in Lynch’s face. Stark puts Baszler back in the ring and yells at Lynch. Baszler applies a Kirifuda Clutch on the ropes. Baszler lets it go before being disqualified. Stark snaps the arm off the top rope. Stark gets in the ring, but Baszler catches her with the World’s Baddest Slam (Ronda Rousey’s Piper’s Pit) for the win. Becky Lynch spits out her lemonade a la Triple H.

Byron Saxton is backstage with Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura says he was tired of people getting in his way, but now he won and will carve his own path. The sound of pipes being knocked over is heard offscreen. We see JD McDonagh viciously attacking Sami Zayn until officials pull him off. Zayn’s elbow looks really messed up.

Otis w/ Maxxine Dupri vs. Ludwig Kaiser w/ Giovanni Vinci
Otis quickly backs Kaiser to the corner. Kaiser fights out and punches at the midsection, but Otis dances and shakes it off. Otis gets fired up, so Kaiser hooks the head. Otis whips him off and hits a shoulder tackle. Otis connects with a scoop slam before charging, but he hits the ring post shoulder-first when Kaiser moves. Kaiser quickly kicks Otis in the face. Kaiser clubs away at Otis’ head and looks at Maxxine Dupri. Kaiser rips Otis’ face and approaches Dupri. She gets on the apron and yells at him. Otis turns Kaiser around and punches away at him. Otis hits a deadlift exploder and avalanches him in the corner. Dupri looks pleased at ringside. Kaiser drops down, and Otis rips his shirt off. Giovanni Vinci jumps to the apron, so Otis suplexes him into the ring. All of a sudden, WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther gets in the ring and boots Otis in the head. Kaiser kicks Otis in the face and pins him for the victory.

Kaiser and Vinci double-team Otis as Gunther watches on. Chad Gable runs down for the save, but Imperium clears the ring. Gunther stands on the apron and smiles at Gable before walking off. The crowd chants for Gable.
Replays are shown of JD McDonagh viciously attacking Sami Zayn backstage.
Jackie Redmond is outside the Trainer’s Room. Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins walk out. She asks if Sami Zayn will be able to go. Rhodes and Rollins both go to talk. Rhodes allows Rollins to take the interview and walks off. Rollins says the doctors won’t let Zayn go. Rollins doesn’t know if he can trust Rhodes, so this might be 3-on-1 or worse. Shinsuke Nakamura walks up and says he saw what happened before offering his services. Rollins says he respects Nakamura and allows him on the team.
The Miz makes his way to the ring. We’ll hear from him next.

Replays are shown of some highlights from the Slim Jim SummerSlam Battle Royal. LA Knight eliminated The Miz before eliminating Sheamus to win the match.
The Miz is standing in the ring and doesn’t look happy. Miz asks if he’s missing something. Is something going on in his head? What happened to showing industry leaders like him proper respect? He comes to Monday Night Raw to find a guy that the crowd loves in LA Knight (YEAH). Miz is a veteran and locker room leader. When he first came to WWE a long time ago, he was taught respect. When you come into the locker room, you introduce yourself and shake hands with those that paved the way for you. LA Knight didn’t just throw him over the top rope, he didn’t introduce himself to the Miz or shake his hand. Miz is sick and tired of the lack of respect.
LA Knight comes out to a HUGE ovation! Knight stands in the ring and listens to the crowd buzzing for him. Knight says, “Lemme talk to you!” Knight says he thought they had a great introduction in the Battle Royal at SummerSlam, but if that didn’t work, he’ll introduce himself with everyone saying, “LA Knight, YEAH!” Knight extends a hand, but Miz says, “No.” Knight doesn’t deserve to shake his hand. Miz says he’s seen superstars like Knight come into WWE trying to ride his coattails. If you take away from the Miz, taking away everything, you get LA Knight. Knight is a flash in the pan, the flavor of the month. The people love him now and for the next five months because he’s it. Knight is just an Attitude Era fanboy playing cosplay in his ring.
A “Tiny Balls” chant picks up. Knight surmises there will be no handshake and warns Miz not to take this personally. Miz says he’s taken everything personally since the beginning of his career when he was thrown out of the locker room. Miz has been doing this for twenty years. What has Knight done? Knight surmises this is personal. Knight has been making himself a dangerous man for twenty years. He’s been clawing and scratching, doing all the right things from the outside looking in as the company put their money behind the wrong horses, The Miz included. Knight waited for the right opening. Here is Miz with a twenty-year headstart. Miz got that headstart because he’s safe. They knew they could smack him around and kick him out of the locker room. Miz took it. The line for Knight is they weren’t ready to take a chance on him yet. He’s a dangerous man. They knew if you wanted to smack him around and kick him out of the locker room that it wouldn’t work. That’s the difference between them. Still, Miz became a champion many times over. Good on him. Now Miz’s career is in the damn toilet and Knight is on the climb. If Miz wants to make this personal, he doesn’t mind making him a stepping stone.
Knight will walk over Miz to the main event where he belongs. Miz says he is the main event. Knight is not on his level. Knight says he’s looking him in the eyes. If he’s not on Miz’s level, he can prove him wrong. Miz takes off his jacket. Knight prepares for a fight. An “LA Knight” chant picks up. Miz goes to get his jacket before throwing it in Knight’s face. Miz attacks Knight and goes for a Skull Crushing Finale, but Knight counters into Blunt Force Trauma. Miz, knocked unconscious by the BFT, has his hand shaken by Knight. Knight walks off.

The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) w/ Valhalla vs. The New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston)
Xavier Woods will start against Erik. Woods chops and uppercuts him before clotheslining him in the corner. Kofi Kingston tags in and kicks Erik in the face. Woods hits Erik with a back suplex. Kingston splashes him for a two-count. Kingston and Woods hit some tandem offense, and Woods picks up a two-count. Erik shoves Woods back, but Woods kicks him. Valhalla distracts Woods. Woods jumps over Erik, and Erik takes Woods down. Ivar tags in. They pull Kingston into the ring, and Ivar hits him with the spin kick of doom. Woods is slammed, and Ivar splashes him off the top rope for a near fall. Ivar knocks Woods to the corner and tags Erik in. The Viking Raiders club Woods down and taunt the crowd. Ivar tags in and takes Woods down before digging his forearm into his face. Erik tags back in, and they turn Woods inside out with a knee to the midsection. Erik knees Woods in the face for a two-count. Erik applies a chin lock, but Woods fights up and pulls him off. Erik puts Woods on the apron. Woods knocks Ivar off and hits Erik with a tornado DDT.
Kingston tags in to a big ovation. Ivar also tags in. Kingston hits a springboard clothesline followed by some chops. Kingston dropkicks him and hits a leaping clothesline. Kingston splashes Ivar in the corner before hitting a cross-body block. Kingston hits the ropes and hits the Boom Drop. Ivar ducks Trouble in Paradise. Kingston avoids the Spin Kick of Doom and hits Ivar with the SOS for a near fall. Kingston charges, but Ivar counters with a seated senton. Erik tags in and knees Kingston in the face for a near fall. Erik goes for a powerbomb, but Kingston counters with a hurricanrana. Kingston then kicks Ivar down. Woods tags in. Kingston hits Ivar with a Trouble in Paradise before hitting Erik with a somersault senton. Woods then hits Ivar with the Limit Break for the win.
Winner by Pinfall: The New Day
Becky Lynch is backstage with Byron Saxton, but Shayna Baszler interrupts. Baszler says she didn’t need Lynch’s help. She has scores to settle and will be coming for The Man. Lynch says she’s looking forward to it.
Tonight’s revised main event will see World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins team with Shinsuke Nakamura, and Cody Rhodes to take on Finn Bálor, Damian Priest, and NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio of Judgment Day.

The New Day is celebrating before being confused by the presence of Jackie Redmond. They don’t know. They know what she’s going to ask. It feels great to be back. They’re gods in this tag team division and are back because New Day rocks.
As first reported by TMZ, Sonya Deville tore her ACL and is out indefinitely. New WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions will need to be crowned.
The Judgment Day makes their entrance. There looks like a lot of tension as Damian Priest walks far from and in front of Finn Bálor. To feign some solidarity, they bump fists.
Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley whispers something in Dominik Mysterio’s ear. All of a sudden, Raquel Rodriguez attacks Ripley from behind! Rodriguez sends Ripley into the barricade and punches away at her before officials pull her away. Ripley jumps at Rodriguez, but she’s pulled back. Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell run down to help, but Ripley throws them away. Ripley boots Rodriguez down and continues to attack. LeRae and Hartwell attack Ripley. Referees and other officials run down and finally restore order. Ripley is irate.

Replays are shown of Bianca Belair pinning Asuka to win the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam this past Saturday. Belair was essentially fighting with one leg. After that victory, IYO SKY cashed in Money in the Bank and won the WWE Women’s Championship.
6-Man Tag Team Match
The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor, Damian Priest, and NXT North American Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio) w/ Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley vs. “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, Shinsuke Nakamura, and World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins
Finn Bálor will start against Shinsuke Nakamura, but Damian Priest tags himself in before anything happens. Bálor and Priest angrily stare at each other. Dominik Mysterio tags in off Priest and steps between them. Nakamura takes Mysterio down and drops a knee for a two-count. Nakamura sends Mysterio into the ropes, but Mysterio puts the brakes on and gets out of the ring. Nakamura gets in position and shouts, “Come on!” The Judgment Day stands at ringside and stares at him.
-Commercial Break-
Picture-in-Picture Commercial Break: Mysterio gets in the ring and circles around Nakamura before getting out of the ring. Bálor, who had blind-tagged in, attacks Nakamura, punching him down in the corner. Nakamura avoids an avalanche and knees him in the ribs. Cody Rhodes tags in, and The American Nightmare punches Bálor before whipping him into the ropes and hitting a kitchen sink knee to the midsection. Rhodes twists the arm and snaps it over his shoulder. Rhodes stares at Rollins before tagging Nakamura back in. Nakamura wrenches Bálor’s arm and takes him down. The picture-in-picture ends here with more commercials continuing to play.
Back from the break, we see Bálor dropkick Nakamura in the face for a two-count. Bálor applies a front facelock. Priest puts his hand out, and Bálor begrudgingly tags him in. Priest kicks Nakamura and Bálor attacks. Priest kicks Nakamura in the midsection, and Bálor follows up with a bicycle kick. Priest applies a chin lock and takes Nakamura down. Nakamura fights up, but Priest rocks him with a punch. Priest hits a leaping elbow and tags Bálor in. Bálor hits a slingshot stomp. Mysterio tags in and hits a slingshot senton a la Eddie Guerrero. Bálor and then Priest tag in. Bálor hits a backbreaker, and Priest follows up with a leg drop for a two-count. The crowd chants, “Dom’s a loser.” Nakamura has a kick blocked, but he comes back with an enzuigiri.
World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins tags in. Rollins knocks Bálor and Mysterio off the apron. Rollins jumps over Priest and hits a Sling Blade. Rollins goes for a suplex, but Priest fights it. Rollins fights back and hits a falcon arrow for a two-count. Priest rolls out of the ring to recover. Rollins hits the ropes and hits Priest with a suicide dive. Rollins puts Priest back in the ring and hits Bálor with a suicide dive. Rollins goes to the apron and goes for a springboard, but Priest punches him out of midair. Priest hits a flatliner and throws Rollins out of the ring. Bálor tags in and hits a Woo Dropkick into the barricade.

Picture-in-Picture Commercial Break: Bálor puts Rollins in the ring and applies an arm lock. Bálor cinches it in and is trying to tenderize the shoulder he worked over at SummerSlam this past Saturday. Rollins fights up and hits a jawbreaker. Bálor quickly comes back with an abdominal stretch. Rhea Ripley watches intently from ringside. Rollins fights out, but Bálor manages to tag Priest in. Priest stops Rollins from making a tag and takes him down. Ripley happily claps at ringside. Priest stands Rollins up and stuns him with a right hand. Priest punches away at him in the corner. The referee backs Priest up, so Bálor gets a cheap shot in and chokes Rollins. Priest pulls Rollins to the center of the ring, waves at Rhodes and Nakamura, and punches Rollins into the ropes. Priest sends Rollins into the ropes, but he lowers his head and eats a kick. Priest stops Rollins from making a tag. Rollins tries to fight away, but Priest traps his arm and hits a clothesline for a two-count. Mysterio tags in and chokes Rollins on the middle rope.
We come back from the final break of the evening to see Ripley punch Rollins in the face as the referee is distracted. Mysterio tries for the Three Amigos but stops after two to knock Nakamura off the apron. Rollins then turns him inside out with a clothesline.
Rhodes and Bálor tag in. Rhodes clotheslines him and hits Priest. Rhodes clotheslines Bálor and uppercuts him. Rhodes hits Priest with a Disaster Kick and catches Bálor with a snap powerslam. Rhodes goes for Cross Rhodes, but Bálor counters. Rhodes knees him and goes for a Cody Cutter, but Bálor counters into a falling elbow drop for a two-count. Rhodes kicks him in the face and hits a Cody Cutter. Mysterio breaks up the pin. Nakamura runs in and kicks Mysterio out of the ring. Priest kicks Nakamura away. Rollins then knocks Priest out of the ring. Rollins hits the ropes for a suicide dive, but Bálor clotheslines him over the top rope. Rhodes sets up for Cross Rhodes, but Ripley gets on the apron to distract the referee. Priest then hits Rhodes in the back with the Money in the Bank briefcase.
Priest hands Bálor the Money in the Bank briefcase. All of a sudden, Sami Zayn attacks Priest from behind. Zayn sends Priest over the commentary table. Zayn’s elbow is all taped up. Bálor goes to hit Rollins with the briefcase, but Rollins superkicks it into his face. Rhodes hits Bálor with Cross Rhodes for the victory.
Winners by Pinfall: Cody Rhodes, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Seth “Freakin” Rollins
Rhodes, Rollins, Nakamura, and Zayn stand tall in the ring, as the Judgment Day looks furiously at them from ringside. Rhodes tries to celebrate with Rollins, but Rollins doesn’t trust him. Zayn steps between them and raises their arms. Rollins pulls away and knocks Rhodes’ arm down. Rollins and Rhodes then shake hands and celebrate.
All of a sudden, Shinsuke Nakamura wipes out Seth “Freakin” Rollins with a Kinshasa! Nakamura walks off as Rhodes and Zayn look on confused and upset. Nakamura takes a deep breath and walks off as the crowd starts to boo.
