Below is an update on Kairi Sane’s return to WWE.
In a report on Sunday from F4WOnline, the former tag team partner to know former WWE Women’s Champion Asuka, is set for a return to WWE, maybe this November, as the report notes Sane has more dates in Japan that she must fulfill.
On Saturday, PWInsider had reported that Sane and WWE have “come to terms” on a return to the company. The report also noted that her return could be possibly this coming week.
However, with all the above said, KAIRI, as she has been going by in Japan, made a surprise appearance at All Japan’s event on Sunday, August 6. She announced during the show that she will team up with Saori Anou to battle Unagi Sayaka and a partner on September 8 for an All Japan Pro Wrestling show.
KAIRI’s appearance came just hours after she posted a video on social media, where she said that she would be holding a special press conference on Monday.
“I want to tell you something. I will have a press conference tomorrow and will be streaming on YouTube right after. Thank you so much.”
Sane departed WWE back in December 2021, after her contract with the company expired.
Since she has been gone from WWE, Sane has competed for Stardom and NJPW. She also became the very first IWGP Women’s Champion. She became a free agent this past March.
