The No. 2 pro wrestling event of all time was a $7 million gate back on April 4, 1998 at the Tokyo Dome for Antonio Inoki’s retirement match against Don Frye. Wrestlemania 27 in Atlanta was WWE’s second largest gate in history at $6,268,391.
