Brian Pillman Jr. teases ‘huge opportunity’ after AEW departure

Brian Pillman Jr. became a free agent earlier this month after his AEW contract expired, and as previously reported was seen training at the WWE Performance Center less than two weeks ago.

At a recent virtual signing with Captain’s Corner, Pillman hinted at something big coming up for the former MLW Tag Team Champion:

“There is a lot to come. I can’t speak on it right now. It’s kind of in the works right now but I’ve got a huge moment, a huge opportunity coming up in my career to continue making memories, to continue coming up with new gear ideas, and sharing my version of pro wrestling with you all.”

Pillman’s last two matches in AEW were in May during a House Rules tour, facing ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli in a ROH World Title Proving Ground match on 5/12 that the champion found success in, and teaming with Brock Anderson in a losing effort against The Gunns on 5/13.
