According to a report by PWInsider, “medical issues”, possibly related to some testing positive for COVID-19 reportedly caused changes to be made to Friday night’s WWE SmackDown.
PWInsider notes in their report, the word that made the rounds backstage at the venue was changes were done to Friday’s show because of talent having to be pulled from the show for medical reasons. PWInsider further stated in their report, one version of this story was there were positive COVID-19 tests or talent that may have come in contact with someone that did test positive.
As of this writing, there is no word or confirmation on who may tested positive for COVID-19, or when talent may have come in contact with someone who did. PWInsider did not provide any further details related to the COVID-19 issue or what exactly the changes were to the show.
