AEW Rampage SPOILERS: Matches taped on 7/19 to air Friday on TNT, off-air notes

AEW taped this Friday night’s episode of Rampage on Wednesday night, after Dynamite went off the air.

Below are very detailed spoilers, with some off air notes, of the Rampage taping, courtesy of PWInsider and F4WOnline.

-Darby Allin won the 20-man Royal Rampage Match to earn a TNT Championship opportunity at the All Out pay-per-view on Sunday, September 3.

-Kris Statlander defeated Marina Shafir to retain the TBS Championship

-The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn defeated QTV (QT Marshall, Aaron Solo & Johnny TV)

F4WOnline has published a detailed list of the entrants and the order of eliminations for the Royal Rampage Match.

Below are some off-air notes from the taping, which are per PWInsider and F4WOnline.

According to PWInsider, after the taping, The Best Friends and Orange Cassidy came to the ring.  Tony Khan brought out Brodie Lee Jr. (-1). Khan told the fans that it was a great night to debut in such a historic venue and that he can’t wait to return and do it again. Everyone then hugged in the ring.

According to F4WOnline, after the post-match speech from Kenny Omega and handshake between the Blackpool Combat Club and The Golden Elite that was off-air, the preparation from Blood & Guts to start the Rampage taping took about 15-20 minutes. The taping then began around 10:30 pm ET, with the Royal Rampage Match lasting 40-45 minutes, including all the introductions.

There was one dark match, which was Kip Sabian defeating Serpentico (w/ Luther)

Rampage will air this Friday night on TNT, beginning at 8:00 pm ET.
