Nick Aldis, who returned to IMPACT in April and was focused on pursuing the IMPACT World Championship in recent months, has reportedly wrapped up his most recent tenure with the company according to Fightful.
The report, first covered by PWInsider, noted that Aldis had his final match at the Slammiversary Fallout tapings, following what Fightful had previously reported was a short-term agreement between the company and the former NWA World Champion.
In addition, a report from PWInsider Elite indicated that WWE has already shown an interest in signing Aldis…but as a producer/agent, rather than an in-ring competitor.
This comes after WWE indicated an interest earlier this year, before Aldis signed his short-term agreement with IMPACT.
