According to The Wrestling Observer and Fightful, AEW star Wheeler Yuta suffered a hamstring injury in his match with Kenny Omega on this past week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
The reports indicate the “belief” is that it is not a full tear and Yuta will be able to compete in the Blood & Guts Steel Cage Match at TD Garden in Boston on July 19.
The former ROH Pure Champion is scheduled to team with Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Konosuke Takeshita, and a mystery partner against Omega, Hangman Page, The Young Bucks and a mystery partner in the Blood & Guts Match.
