Tony Khan has said AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door has made history.
Khan took to Twitter on Sunday to announce AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023 in Toronto is the biggest live gate in AEW history at about $1.2 million. He also said the event is one of the top three biggest live gates in the history of professional wrestling in Canada.
According to WrestleTix on Sunday, over 13,000 tickets were distributed for the event.
