Tony Khan took to social media to announce that a match scheduled for tonight’s Forbidden Door event has been canceled.
This match was initially set up on AEW Rampage in a segment featuring Cole and MJF in which the AEW World Champion announced that he had a match set for his tag team partner for the Blind Eliminator Tournament, leading to an attack on Cole by Lawlor and Royce.
It remains to be seen if Lawlor will have a presence on the show itself, or if/when this match is rescheduled for a later date.
