Fyre and Dawn had held the NXT Women’s Championships since the first of April, when they won the titles from Fallon Henley and Kiana James at the NXT Stand & Deliver premium live event. Fyre and Dawn were sent to SmackDown as part of the 2023 WWE Draft and brought the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships with them.
