Adam Copeland, the WWE Hall of Famer best known as Edge, posted a picture and a statement on social media, thanking fans for watching him all these years.
Edge made his debut on WWE television on June 22, 1998 after weeks of vignettes hyping his arrival, taking on Jose Estrada on that night’s edition of RAW.
The Hall of Famer last competed on the 5/12 edition of SmackDown, in a World Heavyweight Championship First Round Triple Threat Match with AJ Styles and Rey Mysterio, a bout that Styles ultimately won to advance.
Edge is currently advertised to appear on the 8/18 edition of SmackDown in Toronto.
