Reality of Wrestling, an indpendent wrestling promotion based in Texas, has announced via social media that former WWE and WCW referee Nick Patrick will be appearing at their Summer of Champions event next month.
In the announcement, it is stated that Patrick will serve as referee for the main event, with further details to be announced.
Patrick was a referee for WCW up until the assets were purchased by WWE in March 2001, at which point he worked for that company until he was released in 2008.
The announcement of Nick Patrick follows that of former WWE talent Alicia Fox, current NXT competitor Trick Williams, and Jacob Fatu for the show.
Reality of Wrestling is owned and operated by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, who is currently the color commentator on NXT.
