WWE Superstar Liv Morgan confirms extent of her shoulder injury

During the Saturday, June 3 UpUpDownDown live stream, WWE Superstar Liv Morgan squared off with ma.ce for the UUDD Championship.

During the match, ma.ce questioned if Morgan should be allowed to compete since she is not medically cleared.

Morgan then commented, confirming the extent of her injury, which is a torn shoulder.

“I’m sitting at home with my torn shoulder and I’m like, ‘Wow, I’m really excited to win the UpUpDownDown Champion, I’m excited to beat ma.ce, and his kid just happened to have a recital.’ I’d like to see the footage of this recital, I’m just saying. You sent your friends out, but even with one shoulder, I’m still going to beat you. One shoulder, no shoulder, it doesn’t matter.”

Morgan has been out of in-ring action since May 19 after she and Raquel Rodriguez were forced to vacate the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Morgan suffered the injury during the match when she and Rodriguez were defending the titles against Dakota Kai and IYO SKY. Kai tore her ACL during that match.

A Fatal Four-Way Match was held on the May 29 episode of WWE Raw, where Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler defeated the teams of Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville and Bayley and IYO SKY and Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi, to become the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Morgan did not win the UUDD Championship and it is unknown how long she will be out of action.
