Tony Khan addressed a number of topics in a conference call with the media to promote AEW Double or Nothing, including what details he could and could not confirm regarding Collision and updates on various talent ahead of the pay-per-view event taking place in Las Vegas.
It was noted that Khan would not give a firm answer on a potential brand split after Collision debut, but is excited to eventually follow up on that question.
Khan also said that the length of the television deal for Collision is the same they currently have for Dynamite and Rampage, but would not go into financial detail.
Khan responded to a question about future announcements that he is being “intentionally secret” about where things are going with Collision.
In regards to Jamie Hayter, Khan simply stated that she was not cleared for a match recently, otherwise avoiding an answer or further update.
Khan stated that Sabu will not be a regular on AEW programming, but could make future guest appearances down the road. He mentioned he and his father seeing Sabu in the ECW Arena when Tony was 13, and that his father texted him after seeing Sabu on Dynamite this week.
