Former WWE Superstar debuts at IMPACT TV tapings Friday in Chicago, first match announced

Trinity Fatu has arrived in IMPACT Wrestling.

On Friday night, IMPACT Wrestling held its latest set of television tapings billed as Spring Slugfest, at the Cicero Stadium in Chicago IL. Trinity Fatu (former WWE Superstar Naomi) made her debut for the promotion.

Fatu, going by her first name of Trinity said she has come to IMPACT to win the Knockouts Championship. IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo came out and welcomed her to IMPACT. Jordynne Grace then came out reminded Deonna and Trinity that she is next in line for a title shot.

Grace will challenge Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship at the Under Siege event on Friday, May 26 at the Western Fair District Agriplex in London, Ontario, Canada. This is being billed at the Last Chance for Grace as her current deal with IMPACT is reportedly coming to an end.

This segment will be part of the May 4 episode of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS-TV.

IMPACT also announced Trinity’s first match will be against on KiLynn King, one half of the current Knockouts Tag Team Champions. That match will take place during Saturday night’s Spring Slugfest themed TV tapings, which is expected air on the May 11 episode of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS-TV.

Trinity Fatu has not wrestled since May 2022 when she and Mercedes Mone (formerly Sasha Banks in WWE) walked out of WWE at the May 16, 2022 episode ofRaw in Norfolk, VA. They both left over what they said were creative differences and lack of respect as the Women’s Tag Team Champions. Both women were suspended indefinitely and then stripped of the tag team titles.
