According to F4WOnline, whatever health issue or possible injury that Drew McIntyre is dealing with started prior to his WWE WrestleMania 39 Triple Threat Intercontinental Title Match.
It was also noted McIntyre worked through the issue last Sunday and it is unclear how long he will be out of action or when the issue had first occurred.
The report concluded by saying that McIntyre’s absence is not due to the contract talks between himself and WWE, despite the recent news that he has one year left on his current deal and that both sides have not yet come to terms on a new contract.
As it pertains to speculation that McIntyre could show up at AEW’s All In: London pay-per-view in August, McIntyre would not be contractually able to do so.
