For the first time since January 26, 2020, 49-year-old Santino Marella is going to step back into the wrestling ring on a pay-per-view.
Marella, who is the on-screen authority figure in IMPACT will team up with Dirty Dango (former WWE Superstar Fandango) and Joe Henry at next Sunday’s Rebellion PPV. The three will square off against The Design.
This match comes from Marella being attacked on the April 6 episode of IMPACT by The Design. The rest of the group told Sami Callihan that step 7 of his initiation into The Design.
Marella’s last match on pay-per-view was at the WWE Royal Rumble in 2020, when he was as an entrant in the women’s Rumble as Santina.
