According to a new report on Sunday from F4WOnline, just days after he became an official WWE employee again, WWE Executive Chairman Vince McMahon was put back to work. It is being said Vince was backstage at WrestleMania 39 Night on a headset.
PWInsider reported that McMahon was backstage with his own office which was reportedly near the gorilla position. PWInsider also stated Vince was on headset, giving feedback, and asking questions.
F4WOnline further confirmed the PWInsider report, saying Vince was not running the show, but that he is “very much involved now.”
This past Friday, we reported that from a Securities and Exchanges filing, Vince signed an employee contract to go along with his Executive Chairman Board position. He made his return to WWE this past January to help with facilitating a sale of the company.
Speculation continues that Vince already has an increased role within the creative side of WWE, which is headed by his son-in-law Paul “Triple H” Levesque, after Vince has left the company last July, before his return at the beginning of this year. WWE CEO Nick Khan has repeatedly said that Vince is not involved in the creative process.
