Dragon Lee made his in-ring debut for the WWE NXT brand at a house show, which took place at the St. Petersburg Armory in St. Petersburg, Florida on Saturday.
Lee wrestled Eddy Thorpe (former NJPW star Karl Fredericks). Lee appeared in the crowd, on-camera during last Tuesday’s NXT Roadblock special. Lee initially signed with WWE in December 2022. However, due to visa issues his debut with the NXT brand was delayed.
Prior to signing with WWE, Lee wrestled for CMLL, AAA, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and Ring of Honor. He also made an appearance in AEW last year, teaming with his brother Rush and Andrade El Idolo in the World Trios Championship Tournament. After losing the match, Rush and Idolo turned on him.
Back on December 28, 2022, Lee and his brother Dralistico defeated FTR to capture the AAA Tag Team Titles at the company’s Noche de Campeones event. Post-match Lee and Dralistico vacated the tag team titles as Lee announced he signed with WWE.
