WWE made its long awaited debut at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse NY. This Supershow was WWE’s last event of the year and decade! Our ring announcer for the evening is WWE Legend Howard Finkle!
– Christian defeated Shelton Benjamin with the Killswitch to retain his ECW title
The next match is for the US Title but MVP came out and said that Kofi agreed to give him the first US title shot if he beat The Miz last Monday. Timbaland didn’t like how the match ended and to make it up to the fans he made tonight’s match a 3 way with MVP
– The Miz retained his US title against MVP and Jack Swagger after hitting the Skull Crushing Fanale on Jack Swager
The next match was announced as a special 8 Diva Santa’s little helper match. With each Diva wearing a nice Santa’s suit
– Mickie James/The Bella Twins/Gail Kim defeated Beth Pheonix/Katie Lea/Maryse/Alica Fox when Mickie hit her DDT on Fox
– Drew Macintyre defeated John Morrison with the Double Arm DDT (or Scott Drop as I’ve heard it announced) to retain his IC title
– Kane defeated The Big Show with a Choke Slam
– Batista defeated Rey Mysterio in a NO DQ Falls Count Anywheres match when he hit Rey over the head with the ring bell
– D-Generation X and Kofi Kingston defeated Randy Orton and Legacy after hitting Trouble in Paradise, Sweet Chin Music, and the Pedigree on Cody Rhodes
– John Cena defeated Sheamus by DQ when Sheamus shoved down the ref. Cena had Sheamus in the STF when the ref rang the bell. The crowd, and Cena, thought he had won the WWE title until it was announced it was a DQ victory. Cena was VERY over with the crowd.
After the match Cena got on the mic saying it took a long time (and it really did) for WWE to come to The Carrier Dome and that there was no better way to end the year and decade than by having a show there.
