WWE has dropped the last name of NXT Superstar Ava Raine. According to WWE’s roster page on their website, she is now going by just Ava.
Newly signed WWE NXT Superstar Karl Fredericks is set to make his WWE TV debut on the Friday 2/17 episode of NXT Level Up, under the new name of Eddy Thorpe. According to a report by F4WOnline, Fredericks using “Thorpe” appears to be a tribute to legendary Native American athlete Jim Thorpe, as Fredericks is also Native American.
Ava’s real-life father, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took to Instagram to post a video paying tribute to Jerry Jarrett, who passed away this past Tuesday at age 80.
