Gunther will be defending the Intercontinental Championship against Madcap Moss on next Friday night’s (2/17) episode of WWE SmackDown.
Moss won a four-way to determine on Friday’s night’s show to become the new number one contender Intercontinental Championship, by defeating Santos Escobar, Karrion Kross and Rey Mysterio.
Also announced for next week show is Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler vs. Natalya and Shotzi. This match stemmed from the attack on Natalya by Rousey who, returned to WWE SmackDown. When it looked like Baszler was going to step in and hold off Rousey, Baszler also attacked Natalya.
In addition, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus vs. The Viking Raiders. Next Friday’s show is the go-home show for Elimination Chamber on February 18.
Next week’s WWE SmackDown and next Saturday’s Elimination Chamber will both emanate from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
