Photos and Videos: Top star returns to in-ring action at 12/26 WWE MSG show, full results

The third match of Monday night’s WWE Holiday Tour SmackDown house show at Madison Square Garden saw Bray Wyatt defeat Jinder Mahal by pinfall. Mahal cut a promo issuing a challenge. Wyatt came out to a massive pop from the crowd to answer Mahal’s challenge. This was Wyatt’s first match since returning to WWE at Extreme Rules back on October 8.

Wyatt was only scheduled to appear and not wrestle at Monday’s house show. Prior to Monday night, Wyatt last wrestled at WrestleMania 37, losing to Randy Orton. Wyatt is currently in a feud with LA Knight on Friday Night SmackDown.

Full Results From MSG:

-Sheamus & Ridge Holland defeated Imperium. Sheamus pinned Fabian Aichner with The Brogue Kick. 

-Hit Row defeated Legado Del Fantasma in a six person tag when Ashante pinned Joaquin Wilde.  Lots of antics with B-Fab and Zelina Vega.  At one point Vega jumped on Top Dolla’s back and was rotated around several times.  She then sent Fab into the steps.  There was a huge family and friends contingent for Hit Row for their MSG debut.  Vega gave a young fan at ringside some grief after the match.  It was said Dolla appeared to be limping a bit after the match but that might have been him selling his injuries. 

-Jinder Mahal cut a promo saying he was upset that he was disrespected he was not in the ladder match later in the night for the Intercontinental title.  He challenged anyone to face him.  Bray Wyatt came out to a huge pop.  The crowd chanted “This is awesome” after the bell rang to start the match.  Mahal had both knees taped up.  The action spilled out onto the floor.  Wyatt scored the pin with Sister Abigail.

-WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER defeated Kofi Kingston vs. Madcap Moss vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Santos Escobar in a Ladder Match.  Towards the end of the match, Kofi nailed a stomp off the ladder, driving Santos down and after he went to the floor. WWE medical jumped the rail to check on him.  He was helped to back after the match by Jamie Noble. Kofi dove over a bridged Ladder at ringside and hit a tornado DDT on the floor on GUNTHER.  The finish saw Moss get chopped off the Ladder, with GUNTHER grabbing the title to retain.

-Karrion Kross pinned Drew Gulak. After the match, Kross jump the guardrail to embrace an older woman sitting ringside, which was said to be his grandmother.

-Liv Morgan defeated Shayna Baszler in a New York City Street Fight after hitting her with a top rope leg drop onto a table, which did not break.   Morgan got some of the biggest pops of the night for her entrance and big moves. 

-Braun Strowman came out and said he was going to teach The Bloodline and Sami Zayn a lesson and told him to come out. Zayn came out and told Strowman that he was not coming alone, introducing The Usos. There was a massive pop for the Usos who came out with Solo Sikoa.  Zayn then claimed he was not medically cleared to compete so it would be Braun vs. Solo Sikoa. Braun went for a powerslam but the rest of the Bloodline attacked him. Kevin Owens then came out and made the save.  Owens ripped all of them on the mic and said Sami was their b—-.  He challenged them to fight.  It was turned it into a tag match with Usos vs. Braun and Owens. Strowman and Owens defeated The Usos in a non-title match. Stroman hit the Usos with the powerslam and then Owens followed up with a stunner.
