According to F4WOnline, as of right now, Sasha Banks has agreed to terms for multiple dates with New Japan Pro Wrestling. However, Banks returning to WWE could still be a possibility.
It was also said that Banks’ contract with WWE is set to expire at the end of this year, and reportedly Banks and WWE were far apart on money. Even though Banks’ deal with NJPW has not been officially signed, she has agreed to terms for multiple dates in 2023 with the promotion.
F4WOnline further notes Banks was asking for a very high number for a WWE woman wrestler and there is a possibility that WWE could freeze her contract as a result of her walking out on the May 16 episode of Raw and not having returned since.
The report also does mention AEW and how Banks could fit it to the promotion is unclear. Speculation continues that she will be the mystery partner of Saraya against Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker on the January 11 episode of Dynamite at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles. It was said many would be disappointed if it ends up not being Banks.
The report concluded by saying that as of right now, Banks is done with WWE.
