Below are notes and the dark match results from Friday night’s WWE that took place from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY.
-The arena was about 90 percent full. The upper sections were tarped off.
-Dark Match: Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Drew Gulak in what was a very back and forth match
-Sami was really over with the crowd and Sheamus seemed to be playing the heel
-No reaction to Shayna coming out
-There were a lot of “Buffalo” chants due to some of the Buffalo Bills in attendance.
-When Braun Strowman came out the place went crazy.
-The main event was exciting and the audience was really into it with really loud USA chants. Ricochet got a lot of “You Deserve It” chants at the end. All the high flying looked amazing in person.
-Dark Match main event was advertised on TV and numerous emails for the Usos vs. Street Profits. The tag mach didn’t happen. Instead it was Braun Strowman, Riddle, Madcap Moss and Liv Morgan defeating Damien Priest, Zelina Vega, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro. Most of the match was the heels all beating up on Madcap until Braun came in and cleaned house. The math lasted about 15 minutes.
-There were a lot of people complaining on walking out that there were no “really big stars.”
-Merchandise stands were packed all night with mostly Bloodline items being bought
