Special AEW Tuesday night Dynamite defeats NXT in viewers and key demo

The special Tuesday night episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS, drew an average of 752,000 viewers.

This week’s viewership is down from last week’s regular Wednesday episode, which drew 983,000 viewers.

In the key 18-49 demographic, Dynamite drew a 0.50 rating, which is way up from the 0.32 rating the show had last week, in it’s regular Wednesday night time-slot.

The special Tuesday night episode of Dynamite came in at No. 8 for the night on cable, in the key demographic.

Over on the USA Network Tuesday’s NXT drew an average of 676,000 viewers on the USA Network. This number is down from last week’s 737,000 viewers.

In the 18-49 demographic, Tuesday’s NXT, drew a 0.18 rating, which is up from the 0.15 rating the show had last week.

Tuesday night’s NXT came in at No. 12 for the night on cable in the key demographic.

Both AEW and NXT had stiff competition from the NBA and the MLB playoffs.

The NBA game on TNT between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics, drew an average of 2.984 million viewers, with a 1.24 rating in the key demographic.

The Major League Baseball National League Division Series game on FS1 between The New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians, drew an average of 4.009 million viewers with a 1.00 in the key demographic.
