Major Title change at GCW Fight Club Night One with help from AEW faction

Nick Gage is once again Game Changer Wrestling World Champion after defeating Jon Moxley in a career vs. title match, at night one of the promotion’s Fight Club PPV.

The match featured the use of light tubes, barbed wire, and Gage repeatedly carving Mox’s forehead with a pizza slicer. The finish to the match saw AEW stars Stokely Hathaway and W. Morrissey of The Firm came out and interfered. Morrissey picked up Moxley and choke-slamming him through a barbed wire glass window pane. Gage got the pin after he hit three pile-drivers and a choke breaker on Moxley.

Post-Match, Gage praised Moxley, putting him over. He said he will keep going and going and would have not won have won the title without the fans. He then said saying that he goes through glass and barbed wire for them. He closed by praising GCW and said any of the haters can come find him. This is Gage’s third run with the GCW World Title.

Moxley had held the championship for 399 days. His reign began after defeating Matt Cardona at The Art of War Games back on September 4 of last year.
