As part of AEW All Out week, talents received an email discussing a number of points, as the company has a lot of different events going on. According to PWInsider one of those points was to be careful not to use expletives on live TV this week for all the obvious reasons.
During Wednesday night’s Dynamite, AEW Producer Ace Steel said a cuss word during his promo with CM Punk.
The report also notes AEW talents were informed Thursday that Steel immediately returned backstage after the promo and took responsibility for the mistake. It was said Steel agreed to a fine, which was paid and the amount from the fine will be donated to a charity.
It was further noted that AEW praised Steel’s immediate reaction as an example of how to deal with mistakes and accept responsibility for them when they accidentally happen.
