According to PWInsider, current Ring of Honor World Television Champion Samoa Joe may soon be returning to AEW.
Joe has been off filming new upcoming Peacock series Twisted Metal, based on the video game. It has been said the series has now wrapped up shooting. He last appeared on the April 13 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he defeated Minoru Suzuki to the win the ROH World Television Championship.
This past June, it was announced Joe had signed on to play the dual role of Sweet Tooth in the Peacock live action adaptation of popular video game Twisted Metal. He has been off AEW television due to a storyline shoulder injury that he suffered from Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt.
Joe, 43-years-old signed with AEW and debuted at the ROH Supercard of Honor PPV, back on April 1. He has only wrestled seven times since he signed with AEW.
